Sumergible are Carlos Aguirre (drums), Esteban Santos (bass guitar) and brothers Antonio (lead guitar and vocals) and José Rojas (guitar and lead vocals). Originally from La Laguna (Tenerife), the band built their alternative pop rock sound on mostly Anglo-Saxon musical influences. The group formed in 2011 with the sole aim of creating their own material. In June 2016 they record their first album in Sonobox Studios, Madrid, under the direction of producer Manuel Colmenero (Vetusta Morla, Eladio y Los Seres Queridos). The band’s self-titled album "Sumergible", was published on February 3, 2017. It contains 11 tracks interpreted in Spanish. All tracks from the album can be heard and purchased on the digital platforms. Sumergible presented their album live at the venue Café Teatro Rayuela (S/C de Tenerife), to a full capacity audience. They also opened as guest artists for the band Nunatak (Murcia), who visited Tenerife in March (Lone Star, Santa Cruz). In May they reached number one with the song "Solo Yo" in the "Click and Roll música y redes" charts after staying at number two for two weeks. This summer Sumergible has been working with producer Manuel Colmenero in the production of their live shows, adding new songs to the repertoire of the first album. The group is currently adding new dates to their concert schedule and they are getting ready to make the leap into the national scene.
